Inspired by the legendary Zelda sagas, I set out to bring these worlds to life through a bomber jacket project revisiting Link's iconic outfits. This project gave me the opportunity to reconnect with the mastery of Marvelous Designer, from meticulous stitching details to dynamic simulations.
Blending pop-culture with styling, I explored the nuances of textiles and materials, playing with their resolution and dimension to create an authentic design.
The transition from Marvelous Designer to Blender required a particular mastery of topology, especially when using a lining in the jacket.
By separating elements by material, I was able to texture efficiently in Substance Painter and concentrate on adding volume to initially flat surfaces, thanks to the magic of textiles.
